The body constantly gives clues or perhaps, you might saying its screaming for your attention. The body does not want to be sick and will do whatever it needs to do to get healthy. Below are a few clues that you may have or are experiencing. I like to pass on this type of information in hopes that people will be more aware of their bodies especially, how food affects them.
If you have been to a Chinese medicine doctor, you are well aware that they look closely to the tongue. One thing they will look at is your tongue is smooth and a little shiny. This may indicate a lack on b vitamins in your body.
Cracks in the Corner of your Mouth
This is usually a sign that is a lack of b vitamins in your body.
foods to eat more of: almonds, whole wheat breads, asparagus, dark leafy greens, bananas, salmon, avocados
supplements to consider: B- complex blend ( take it in the morning as it might keep you up a night).
Pale or clear: You are well-hydrated.
Dark yellow: You are dehydrated. Drink more water, water infused with citrus and herbal teas. Eating more water-rich foods like watermelon, and melons will also help.
Cloudy:A bladder infection might be present. Cloudiness may indicate the presence of white blood cells which help fight off germs and bugs. Best to visit your doctor.
Blood or a dark color:A dark-colored urine could indicate a various of illnesses ( unless you are menstruating). It’s important to make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can.
Dry itch patches: It most likely is eczema which usually is a result of stress and/or food sensitivities or allergies. Become more in tune of when these breakouts occur in relationship to stress levels and what has been eaten in the last 72 hours, if very important. Be a good detective.
If you fall asleep the minute or second you hit the pillow, you are most likely sleep deprived. Make an effort to go to bed a little earlier and set a routine that your body can become accustomed to: go to sleep at 10 and wake at 6am.
Waking up at night:Staying asleep is hard and usually indicates levels of stress, sleep apnea and even depression. Taking a magnesium supplement before bed can be very helpful although, it may take a few weeks. If after a few months you are still having troubles, visit your doctor who can refer you to a sleep specialist.
White spots:White spots are due to injury that occurred 4 to 6 weeks earlier. They also may occur because of an allergic reaction to nail polish.
Yellow spots: Some people believe yellow nails indicate that there might be some liver dysfunction which may simply indicate the need for a little support. Liver detox teas, and supplements like silymarin, dandelion may be helpful. Eating liver loving foods such as lemons, beets, beet greens will also help.
It may also show a mild fungus infection. Keep nails trimmed short and rub lavender oil every night. If this doesn’t work, visit your doctor.
